I gave a special lecture at Tounan Senior High School, Kyoto. Arimoto Jun'ichi-san teaches the class that I visited; I have been working with him for astronomy education.

I visited Dr. Kato's office, Kyoto University, which studies science communication. I discussed with post-docs, Dr. Tetsuya Shirai and Dr. Eri Mizumachi. I joined an activity of astronomy popularization at Kyoto University Hospital, conducted by Oudado.

I attended Kinki Regional Meeting of Society of Japan Science Teaching, held at Kobe University. I made my oral presentation.

Dr. Junko Ito of Faculty of System Engineering and Pf. Yoshimitsu Matsuura, the principal of Attached Elementary School, Faculty of Education, visited my class, Environment of the Universe.


Five students of Kihoku Special Support School, senior high school class, visited Wakayama University with two teachers. I gave a lecture about search for extraterrestrial life, and showed the astronomical observatory on the top of the faculty building.


The midterm graduation thesis presentation was held. Seven astronomy-seminar students made their oral presentations.
