In our laboratory, we are doing research placing importance on both of theoretical consideration based on the principles and experimental investigation towards practical application demanded in the real world.

In terms of student education, we are aiming to cultivate expertise and skills (including logical thinking) of every student as an engineer necessary for research and development through the experience on the theoretical consideration and experimental investigation mentioned above.

For discussions on daily research, we have a seminar and an individual meeting every week. As for the seminar, all the members participate and several members make reports on the progress of their research and discuss the contents of research. In the individual meeting, we have deep discussions on the research contents of only one or two student(s).

For presentations on our research output, we are targeting on international conferences and journals. We are encouraging even undergraduate students to experience writing papers and giving presentations at domestic/international conferences so that the members can have deep discussions on their research with researchers from all over the world.
