Three of my students, Miyazaki-san, Ota-kun, and Tsujioka-kun showed them the dome.
The weather was clear, so the researchers could enjoy the Moon and stars through the telescope.

I helped star story telling and watching party held at Kamagasaki,
day laborer's residence in Osaka City, where various wintering events were held.
The star party was planned by
an NPO corporation Cocoroom[J] and Okyudo Masami-san
of Faculty of Tourism, Wakayama University.
First, we had a talk session at Furusato-no-ie (hometown's house);
about the Milky Way by me,
about the Sun by Yokoyama Masaki-san of IfES[J], Wakayama University,
about the stars by Nogami Daisaku-san of Kwasan Observatory, Kyoto University,
and about `Hayabusa', the sample-return asteroid mission, by Okyudo-san.
Nogami Emi-san of Kobe University also join the session.
After that, we moved to Sankaku-Koen (the triangle park), and spread telescopes
that Okyudo-san brought.
We enjoyed talking to many people in front of telescopes waiting for clearing up the sky, though,
we had to end up the star watching party by the sudden snow.

I was invited a monthly regular meeting of 'Lalala-no-kai', a music club organized by Oyabu Makiko-san,
a pianist and composer.
At first, I talked about the Moon and stars, and Oyabu-san played the electronic keybord.
Then, participants, who were Lalala-no-kai's regular members, discussed
about 'what is science?'. 'Does science tell truth?',
'Will science be affected by the public as music is?' and so on.
I felt that science cafe progresses from an old type,
one-way outreach and prepared by government or university,
to a new type,
both-way discussion and prepared by citizens.

an asteroid Itokawa, as streaks of light in the Australian night sky.

Institute for Education on Space, IfES, was opened on 1st May
at Wakayama University for the student education.
The opening event of was held at Wakayama University:
the movie of Hayabusa, and the lecture by Yoshikawa Makoto-san of JAXA.

I helped star watching party held at
Triangle Park, Kamagasaki,
day laborer's residence in Osaka City.
There held a May Day eve party at the park,
and several tens of people enjoyed watching
Venus the evening star, Saturn and Titan, and Arcturus
by telescopes.
The star watching party was planned by
an NPO corporation Cocoroom and Okyudo Masami-san
of Faculty of Tourism, Wakayama University.
I showed using an 8-cm refractor.
The sky was clear, and to be lucky for us,
we saw the International Space Station passing over us
with a bright streak of light.
Everyone really enjoyed watching star through telescopes.

and performed astronomy outreach activity.

visited Wakayama Univeristy
to discuss about receiving signal from UNITEC-1.

I attended a meeting for exchanging information between Wakayama University and
local journalists, held at Forte Wajima, Wakayama City.

I stayed at Hotel Musashi, Shirahama, Wakayama, for freshperson's training camp
as a staff member of Student Committee.
