I attended a meeting of Advisory Committee meeting of Kiso Observatory, Institute of Astronomy (IoA), University of Tokyo, held at Mitaka Campus of IoA, Tokyo.


I and two of my students, Makita Naonori-kun and Ito Takatoshi-kun joined `Sazanka' Project, Japan's nation-wide SETI observations campaign (11 and 12 November), as an optical follow-up (at the Astronomical Observatory of Faculty of Education, Wakayama University) of the radio observations. We were interviewed by NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation) Science ZREO. Unfortunately, the weather was so bad, we could not obtain the data.

The Moon Watching Party was held at Center for Education and Research of Lofelong Learning, Wakayama University. I joined as a staff for moon watching through telescope, with three students, Nishikori Yuta-kun, Nishimura Sho-kun, and Miyazaki Keiji-kun.

I visited a hospital classroom of Nagusa Elementary School, Wakayama City, in Wakayama Medical University Hospital, and gave a lecture to 6th grade students. Another students of 7th grade, a hospital classroom of Meiwa Junior High School, Wakayama City, joined my class. After the class, Ms. Hiroko Takagi, the Nagusa class teacher, Ms. Sayuri Kubo, the Meiwa class teacher, and I discussed about the hospital classroom.
