授業の概要・ねらい
／Course Aims		 This class focuses on developing English communication skills with a focus on business related vocabulary. Students will read about business related topics in class. Students will also be asked to do research online and write about it Students will also practice speaking, listening, and memorization in order to become accustomed to using business related English.
到達目標
／Course Objectives		 By this end of this course, students will become more familiar with the English vocabulary that is often used in business settings. Students will also have become more aware of the people, places, and issues related to the business world. This will help them interact better with the English speaking business world.
成績評価の方法・基準
／Grading Policies/Criteria		 Class work 20%, Mid-Term Exam 40% (8th day of class), Final exam 40% (16th day of class). Students who miss more than 4 classes will not receive credit for this course.

／Textbook		 No textbook is used in this course.
参考書・参考文献
／Reference Book		 An English-Japanese / Japanese-English Dictionary is required and must be brought to class everyday. Students must use dictionaries to complete assignments. Smart-phones and computers are not permitted to be used as dictionaries.
