To improve overall language skills & analysis ability by reading & commenting on a common text and personal experience weekly. |

Writing 1 page analyzing the text & connecting it with personal experience. There will also be vocabulary & comprehension building work using the text & newspaper stories, plus group presentations, individual questions, & English KARAOKE.. |

成績評価の方法・基準 ／Grading Policies/Criteria |
All weekly vocabulary & comprehension work, written homework, & KARAOKE is required. Written work is due one week after it is assigned. A 2 page movie review will be due after we finish a movie. Plagiarism on it is reason to fail the course. |
