授業の概要・ねらい
/Course Aims
Through work experience (practical training) in the real world, students learn with an eye to their own future.
The aim is to recognise the relevance of one's studies to society, improve the ability to apply knowledge, stimulate a desire to learn new things, develop social adaptability and cultivate a vocational awareness.
到達目標
/Course Objectives
(i) Be able to identify work results and analyse success/failure factors.
(ii) Be able to set personal growth targets in social and practical competences, and take action and verify them.
(iii) Be able to apply specialist knowledge to practical work, gain specialist knowledge from practical work and find future learning tasks.
(iv) To be able to analyse the industries and occupations in which practical training takes place and to summarise learning from practical training experiences that will contribute to their own career choices.
成績評価の方法・基準
/Grading Policies/Criteria
Practical training during a leave of absence is not subject to evaluation.
The main teacher in charge of the course makes a pass/fail decision based on the student's internship report and the findings of the supervising teacher. The report is accompanied by proof of the practical training activities, such as a practical training diary and an evaluation sheet from the practical training workplace. The criteria for judgement are that the student must be able to analyse at least one of the attainment objectives from the perspective of at least one of the attainment objectives, after fulfilling the requirements to be evaluated. The number of credits is based on the number of hours of practical training.

履修上の注意 ・メッセージ
/Notice for Students
The evaluation subject will be registered after the practical training.
The internship is not treated as an internship by the University if the content of the internship is not appropriate for work experience, such as company explanations or company tours, even if the internship is called an internship.
If the internship is less than five days (1-4 days), it will not be treated as an internship by the University.
In principle, the internship is unpaid (this does not apply to transportation, lunch and other necessary expenses). However, if the actual work is the same as that of an employee, the internship will be paid, subject to labour-related laws and regulations. If other decisions are required, the Career Centre and the faculty member in charge of the student's department will decide on the suitability of the internship on a case-by-case basis.
