授業の概要・ねらい
/Course Aims
Students will have various opportunities to participate in overseas activities related to tourism.
Global Learning Activity includes programs of GIP (Global Intensive Project) which provide opportunities to learn English, different cultures and tourism trends abroad.

All programs aim to develop students’ English communication skills and inter-cultural understanding.

Credit will be awarded towards the working hours of each program, the submission of reports.

Students are recommended to read books and articles related to the countries in which the program is conducted.

The application forms will be distributed on the Wakayama University Moodle.

This is a part of GP.(15期生以降は、GP指定科目ではありません。)

【Important Notice】 Participants must take English proficiency examinations before/after the program of Global Learning Activity for checking their achievement.

/Prerequisite
Program cost is as specified in each program description.
English proficiency exam fees are required apart from program fee.
Travel insurance and OSSMA service are also pre-requisite for enrolling in these programs.

Participation in orientation meetings for each program, pre-seminars and achievement presentations is
needed.
Additionally, you need  a preparatory self-learning before you go abroad.

Students interested in GIP are strongly advised to attend the information session.
The date and venue will be notified in advance.  
Students collect information about the program and select one.
This is an outline of the course. Check details with instructors.
2 Preparatory Learning Self-directed learning about the geography and culture that students visit with advice from instructors.
Learning about international mobility.
3 Learning activities Students work at the site and report on activities and learning.
4 Review activities Students review own work and do additional learning.
5 Peer review and sharing learning outcomes Share experiences and learning with colleagues.
