授業の概要・ねらい
/Course Aims
In this course, students develop the ability to articulate their research ideas clearly in English, refine their research process through structured peer discussion and feedback, and present their tourism-related research findings with confidence.

By regularly presenting their work, providing constructive feedback to peers, and engaging actively in academic discussions within the GP community, students further strengthen their academic communication skills, critical thinking, and project management abilities.

These competencies are essential not only for successfully completing their GP English dissertation but also for contributing effectively to academic and international communities.
到達目標
/Course Objectives
Upon completing this course, students will be able to:
1. Complete required academic tasks and meet deadlines according to an established project schedule..
2. Present their research findings on a tourism-related topic clearly and confidently to their peers and actively engage in academic discussions.
3. Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of contributing to academic and international communities by actively participating in discussions and providing constructive peer feedback.
成績評価の方法・基準
/Grading Policies/Criteria
Student’s overall grade in the class will be determined by the following:
-Participation in class activities (20%)
-Submission of assignments on time (20%)
-Quality and consistency of constructive peer feedback (30%)
-Performance in presentations given in three different sessions (30%)

/Notice for Students
1.This is a Global Program course; therefore, all instruction will be conducted in English. Students are expected to attend all classes, participate actively, and communicate exclusively in English. If a student is unable to attend class for any reason, they must contact the instructor by email prior to the class session.

2. All official course communication will take place through students' university email account and Microsoft Teams. Please check the university email and Teams for this course daily during the academic year.

3. Students must contact the instructor if they are experiencing difficulty with the course.

2 Session 2: October 22 Research Aim & Literature Review Short lecture on formulating research questions; student presentations on preliminary literature review with instructor-led discussion
3 Session 3: November 19 Methodology Workshop on choosing appropriate methodologies; student presentations on research design with structured peer feedback
