授業の概要・ねらい
/Course Aims
In this course, we will discuss "Tourism Future" Based on the previous learning in A, B and C. Topics will include destination, management, community, environment, resources, heritage and the entire course will be framed in making tourism more sustainable.Tourism will be seen mostly from destination (including most community and business) as well as tourists, Students are expected to present critical views on the current and future of tourism. Mid-term presentation of selected topic and a final essay (2000wds) as well as active participation in in-class discussions will be expected. Group tasks will including devising Quiz and Prediction of the current and future state of the selected form of tourism. Survey & mapping tool (GIS) will be also introduced.

/Course Objectives
At the end of this course, students will be able to:
- apply fundamental knowledge gained in previous courses (Principles A, B, C) to various forms of tourism
- present critical views on current and future of tourism in reference to specific background
- form own opinion (presentation/writing) about future of tourism in relation to critical social and environmental issues.

Mid-term presentation on selected topic 30%
News/media review 20%
Essay (2000wds) in appropriate writing style and format 30%
Active participation in in-class discussions 20%
