授業の概要・ねらい ／Course Aims |
This is an undergraduate course on Nature-based tourism/Ecotourism where students will learn fundamental aspects as well as gain some familiarity with issues/challenges/potential of nature-based tourism/ecotourism destinations. In particular, students will learn about adventure tourism and protected area-related issues. | ||||

By taking this course, students will be able to a. Gain fundamental knowledge of the principles and characteristics of nature-based tourism/ecotourism/adventure tourism b. Gain knowledge of the various challenges and issues faced by destinations. c. Analyze issues related to the sustainability of such destinations. d. Master fundamental concepts and requirements for nature-based tourism/ecotourism e. Develop knowledge and analytical skills related to the condition of the natural environment at destinations. |

Look up the internet or library resources in your free time to further understanding about nature based tourism/ecotourism. It will be a fun course as you will watch several documentaries and get chances to familiarize yourself with real world situations, but you also need to study course materials carefully. |
