授業の概要・ねらい
/Course Aims
Innovation is one of the most powerful weapons business enterprises use to protect and/or sustain their competitive advantages. On the other hand, it is well known that innovation itself is the end-result or output of projects that have been successfully accomplished. And due to the nature of their complexity in scale and scope, business projects must be managed in order to be successful. This course aims to introduce students to methods and techniques for managing projects.
This course will benefit from the professional experience of the professor. So the content of this course will not based theory only. Insight from the professional experience will illustrate the theory.

/Course Objectives
* Show the importance of project management for business enterprises

* Develop basic technical skills to analyze, execute and/or audit projects

* Develop student's interest in the area of project management

* Give Japanese students the opportunity to learn a speciality subject in English

/Instructions for studying outside class hours
Each week, students will have a group that will allow them to review previous lessons and prepare them for the new lesson.Individual assignments are not expected since project management is essential a team work. The advantage of group assignments is that students can learn from each others and prepare them for team work in the future.
